Abstract

Tinder, a mobile relationship application (software), facilitates the initiation of the latest, possibly intimate relationships and encourages it self as a social finding platform dominating the U.S. With 1.4 billion swipes a day. This exploratory research investigates exactly how people practice relationship initiation behaviors through Tinder and highlights how social relationship initiation, selection procedures, and strategic pre-interaction habits are evolving through contemporary-mediated dating tradition.
